Mr. Zappa joined Zamagias Properties in September of 2004 with extensive experience as a real estate and commercial lawyer. He is responsible for all day-to-day legal issues affecting the real estate holdings of Zamagias Properties ranging from leasing matters to buy/sell transactions, operational issues, and financing.
Mr. Zappa has worked in both the corporate and private firm environment. Prior to joining Zamagias Properties, he served as an equity partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Metz Lewis, LLC, and in-house counsel for both the Hertz Corporation and Ingersoll Rand Finance Corporation. Mr. Zappa has substantial experience in a wide array of real estate, construction, and financial transactions. He has represented owners and tenants of shopping centers, malls, office buildings, and industrial properties. He has litigated on behalf of parties in real estate and construction disputes as well as borrower and lender transactions.
Mr. Zappa received his undergraduate degree from Duquesne University and his law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law. He also holds a Master of Science in Real Estate, which he obtained from New York University.
